Salt cellars were once prominent in every cook’s kitchen, but their popularity began to wane in the 1940s as shakers became more in vogue. Today’s busy cooks are now rediscovering the convenience and the nostalgia of salt cellars. Ours is made of clear glass with a lid to keep contents dry and protected.
