NY Library Desk And Floor Lamps
When the New York Public Library needed lamps for its Rose Main Reading Room, it based them on a design from the architectural firm of Carrere & Hastings, who also designed the library itself. These legendary, solid brass lamps can now illuminate your own home. The exterior of the shade is unpainted, while the interior is white for gentle-on-the-eyes reflection. The base is painted black. The floor lamp's height is adjustable. Two 60-watt bulbs (not included) are controlled with separate pulls, so the amount of illumination is up to you. UL approved. Why do some items have an extra processing charge?
Because some items such as larger carpets and furniture require special
packaging or processing to protect against damage, additional processing
costs are incurred. This amount is in addition to our delivery charges for
regular ground delivery. For each item to which it applies, the charge will
be shown in the "EXTRA" column of the item's information page. This charge
is not waivable. These charges are in addition to standard delivery shipping
and processing charges, and together total the actual cost of packaging and
shipping these products.

1-800-950-9540 (8:30 AM to 10:00 PM, EST, Monday-Friday) for a quote.
Furniture or very large and heavy items can be delivered to street addresses
in the Continental U.S. only and cannot be delivered to PO boxes, APOs, and
FPOs. Gift wrapping is not available for these items. Call customer service
for a shipping quote.
